Functional training on a walking rehabilitation treadmill is a key component of Locomotion, Gait & neurological rehabilitation. The G2 Anti-Gravity Treadmill
is in many ways more effective than AlterG Anti-Gravity treadmill, with much more features, and benefits that makes walking therapy practically more
effective and easy to the patient allowing them to start rehabilitation as early as possible.
The handrails / parallel bars of the G2 Anti-Gravity Treadmill can be height adjusted giving customized patient support.
The treadmill has no obstruction on the side of the frame ensuring the therapists, uninterrupted access to the patient’s legs.
The possibility of walking downhill or up-hill with an incline adjustment of (0 – 20 %) is extremely beneficial. Especially for patients with weakness of the
dorsi-flexors.
The additional Reverse training range of 0-5KPH provided in the treadmill, helps to stimulate Inactive Muscles and Promote Blood circulation and Improve
Body Balance.
Getting onto the treadmill deck can be a challenge, which is why the treadmill comes with a wheelchair ramp.
The user wears a special safety vest harness that is connected to the safety Arch which provides protection against falling and provides Unweighting at the
same time. The Inflatable safety vest with leg straps allows prolonged use without discomfort.
The overhead straps provide postural control and support for symmetric upright positioning even for those who cannot support themselves.
The Hoyker Anti-Gravity Unweighting System has been optimized for rehabilitation locomotion therapy & Gait Rehabilitation.
This specially constructed un-weighting system supports a patient’s natural gait pattern allowing them to start rehabilitation as early as possible
The Unweighting system is a body weight supporting device that provides fall protection, un-weighted and/or secured balance training, unweighted and/or
secured functional and gait training, overspeed/hyperspeed and excess frequency training.
The user can set the exact unweighting value via a crank liver, and the display will show the exact unweighting value in kg or lb. This precision makes it
possible for patients to set the exact point where exercise becomes pain free and provides therapists a way to accurately measure patient progress.
The G2 treadmill can be used with or without the unweighting system.
The G2 Treadmill with Un-Weighted System can be used for the following patient conditions:
• Stroke
• Multiple Sclerosis
• Cerebral Palsy
• Parkinson’s Disease
• Paraplegia
• Traumatic Brain Injury
• Endoprosthesis (e.g. total hip replacement)
• Degenerative Joint Disease (e.g. osteoarthritis of the knee)
• Spinal Muscular Atrophy
• Hemiplegia
• Gait disorders
• Elderly
• Strengthens and improves coordination of muscles, which results in protecting surrounding joints.
• Minimizing stress during athletic conditioning, allowing full range of motion.
• Allows injured athletes to retain their fitness as they recover
